The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Ms. Thoko Didiza, recently announced the 21-day total ban on the movement of cattle in the country.

Following this announcement KZN MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi, led a successful vaccination drive in KwaNyuswa, Ward 2 to mitigate the spread of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in the Province. MEC Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi further joined a roadblock to create awareness about FMD and to ensure that the total ban on cattle movement throughout the province is enforced.
