The BRICS Women's Business Alliance Food Security Working Group of the South African Chapter has heeded the call for sustainable solutions to the food insecurity threat. The BRICS WBA Food Security Working Group has joined forces with various industry players, including government and private sector stakeholders to support and actualize some of the key objectives of BRICS-ARP in promoting agriculture innovation, intensifying the battle of food insecurity exacerbated by the effects of global warming and climate change, as well as operationalizing agriculture capacity building of women and small-holder farmers towards thriving BRICS and Africa's agriculture economic sectors.
