Some of the attending stakeholders listening on as KZN DARD MEC, Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi (on the podium) and the KZNDARD head of department, Sizwe Sibande, deliberate on the challenges posed by the spread of corona virus on the KZN farming sector.
Farmer fraternity representatives also got their turn to ask questions, give opinions and recommendations during the stakeholder engagement meeting held at Cedara on Thursday, this week. The altimate resolutions was that agricultural activities will not be suspended as food is a need and right.
