KZN MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs Thembeni kaMadlopha-Mthethwa alongside the Hon. Premier Mr Thamsanqa Ntuli and the Provincial MEC’S, commemorated Youth Day at the University of Zululand in eMpangeni on Monday, 16 June 2025. MEC Thembeni kaMadlopha-Mthethwa highlighted the numerous opportunities for youth to explore within the agriculture sector. She also stated that the Department will assist in facilitating this process. Hon. MEC Thembeni kaMadlopha-Mthethwa said the Department continues to help students through internship, bursary and learnership programmes aiming to empower youth with work experience and professional development.
