On Friday, 08 September 2023, the KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Hon. Super Zuma, visited eight households in Mpembeni under the King Cetshwayo District to create awareness on the One Home One Garden programme designed to alleviate poverty while promoting self-sufficiency. 

MEC Super Zuma handed over seedlings and farming implements to all families and further expanded on existing Departmental programmes to community members.
