The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Super Zuma, embarked on Operation Siyahlola in KwaMaphumulo under iLembe District on Sunday, 26 August 2023.

The MEC visited the Zubane traditional council, where the Department is currently constructing a dip tank as part of food security interventions. 

Alongside, is the Mayor of Maphumulo Local Municipality, Cllr. M. Khuzwayo and "Amagoso engoma kazwelonke," who are brand ambassadors of the Department.

The Honourable MEC visited various One Home, One Garden and community projects in a mission to create awareness on the importance of food security in KwaZulu-Natal.
