Food insecurity remains one of the biggest social ills facing the country, especially at rural household levels. The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi, hosted rural women to celebrate the International Rural Women's Day at Bhekuzulu Township in Vryheid. This event was held to recognize the critical role and contribution of rural women, in improving food security and eradicating poverty in the Province.
