KZN MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development Bongi Sithole-Moloi is in Owen Sitole College of Agriculture near Mpangeni to engage with management in order to understand what the college is all about and what it wants to achieve. MEC Sithole-Moloi believes that agriculture should be a way of life.

"As employees, we should change the mind-set and be a solution for the people of KZN. We want to check and see how we can assist this college in responding to our people’s needs," said MEC Sithole-Moloi. The college's purpose is to contribute towards skills development capacity for local communities, through coordinated structured agricultural training and rural development in the KZN Province.
