On Tuesday, 5 May 2026, The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs Thembeni KaMadlopha-Mthethwa, officially handed over a fleet of 48 new vehicles and welcomed 60 Animal Health Technicians (AHTs) at Cedara under uMgungundlovu District. This initiative is aimed at accelerating Foot and Mouth Disease vaccination campaigns and strengthening farmer support services across the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
