In a quest to create job opportunities, the KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Hon. Super Zuma, on Monday, 06 November 2023, congratulated and welcomed the newly appointed graduate interns at the Centenary Hall in Cedara.
This programme marks a significant step towards increasing employment opportunities for young graduates and cultivating their work-readiness skills.
Approximately 97 students were appointed as interns and were assigned to different sections within the Department.
MEC Super Zuma encouraged the interns to seize this opportunity as their predecessors had done. He also advised graduates to work hard in order to gain valuable skills and experience in their respective fields.
"We have high expectations of the interns. We rely on you to use your unique skills to assist the Department in achieving its mandate and contribute toward ensuring food security for all communities in KwaZulu-Natal. We expect you to maintain the highest level of honesty and professionalism in whatever you do.” said MEC Zuma.
