The MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development in KwaZulu-Natal, Mrs Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi, said she is concerned about the poverty engulfing the people of kwaXimba in the eThekwini District.

The MEC said this during an Operation Sukuma Sakhe visit at the outer west region of the District on the 28th of April 2021.

MEC Sithole-Moloi said government is ready to implement programs aimed at poverty alleviation in the area and as part of that, a dam will be built for irrigation schemes to assist agriculture in the area.
