Sport at Cedara College

The College has rugby, cricket, netball, soccer, squash and swimming facilities. Participants in these sports are expected to play for College teams but in exceptional cases, when a student has the potential to play representative sport, this rule may be waived. A variety of other sports clubs are supported at Cedara. Students wishing to participate in road running, canoeing and golf are allowed to participate in outside clubs.

College rugby is very popular and an annual tournament is held between Cedara and five other Agricultural Colleges. The venue for this tournament rotates amongst the various colleges.

Agricultural Colleges Soccer and Netball Tournament with 10 other competing Colleges also takes place every year.

A Volleyball tournament is held annually with five other Agricultural Colleges and a Choir Competition is held annually.

An annual sports dinner is held at which the achievements of all the sportsmen and women are acknowledged.

The College has a student recreational facility including a pickleball court.
