The National Department of Agriculture Deputy Minister Nokuzola Capa, together with KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development MEC, Ms Thembeni KaMadlopha-Mthethwa, led a District Development Model Presidential Imbizo Build-Up programme on 05 November 2024 at the KwaShukela-South African Sugar Association Head Office, Mount Edgecombe under eThekwini Metro where they met eThekwini cane growers.

This is part of the Department's consultative efforts with the farmers to address challenges facing the sector. The programme forms part of the District Development Model Presidential Imbizo set to take place in uMgababa on Friday, 08 November 2024.
