The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development MEC Thembeni KaMadlopha-Mthethwa, was part of the Premier's Service Delivery and Crime Fighting Imbizo on 10 September 2024 at Caluza Sport Centre, outside Pietermaritzburg.

MEC KaMadlopha-Mthethwa conducted an oversight visit to the Madwaleni area of Sweetwaters to inspect the newly-built Mpushini Dip Tank where she stressed the importance of ensuring animal health by consistently dipping livestock against ticks and diseases.

The diptank is intended to improve the livestock in the area by protecting them from communicable diseases that may impede the livestock.
