Provincial Women’s Prayer Day

The KwaZulu-Natal government of the provincial unity led by Hon. Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli, held a Provincial Women's Prayer Day at Farmers Hall in Newcastle on 29 August 2024. This engagement brought together congregations from various religious convictions within the Amajuba District to pray for an end to various social ills and crimes engulfing the Province.

Hon. MEC KaMadlopha-Mthethwa commended the Premier for his continuous unflinching support for women's empowerment programs. The Hon. MEC further called upon women to showcase resilience and break the silence around issues of GBV and domestic violence.

As we wrap up Women's Month, Hon. MEC Thembeni KaMadlopha-Mthethwa encouraged women to believe in their dreams and abilities to reform the agricultural sector.
