The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, led by MEC Super Zuma, together with KZN Legislature MPLs, visited two early childhood development centres in uMkhanyakude District on Thursday 25 January 2024.

This visit forms part of the KZN Legislature's School Functionality Monitoring Programme, which focuses on effective learning and teaching, teacher-learner support material, SGB functionality and infrastructure.

MEC Zuma stated that this year, Government has identified kindergartens to determine how they operate in order to assist those who may require assistance in ensuring that children learn properly in a secure, clean environment while also protecting their rights.
