The community of Golokodo near Folweni, Durban received a settlement for land claims to the value of about R44 million. This compensation will benefit 397 households and over 2382 beneficiaries who were victims of land dispossession. The claimants who once had beneficial occupational land and grazing rights were removed from the land to make way for the Malukazi people and the development of Folweni Township.
