In efforts to fast-track service delivery and promote food security in the province, the KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development Mrs Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi together with MEC for Social Development Mrs Nonhlanhla Khoza, successfully led an Integrated Service Delivery and Food Security Programme at the Inkangala Sports Ground under eThekwini Municipality. 

The MECs brought a variety of services to the community, including Agricultural services, Home Affairs and exposing residents to opportunities aimed at changing their lives through job creation. As part of the One Home One Garden initiative, MEC Bongiwe Sithole-Moloi handed over farming implements and seedlings to families within the area. Social relief of distress food parcels were also handed over to the needy in the community.
